Festive Holiday Party Attire

I honestly do not know where this year went. I feel like December flew by and now we are getting ready to ring in the new year. You hear of so many people feeling rushed and busy this time of year. And yes, I am! I really try to soak in every minute with kids. I know it can be crazy, but I want to be that YES mom, because I know I only have a couple more years of it. Then I will be wishing I was baking cookies, searching Target for ugly sweaters, and prepping for all craziness this season of life brings. And they may not remember the exact details of every party, but they will remember me showing up and being there. Because you know what, my mom did that for me, and I remember her never missing a party or program.

So, tis the season for all the sequins and sparkle. This time of year you can wear the sequins and no one will think twice about your festive attire. You can wear your favorite party dress or a fun sweater with jeans this holiday season and I think both are totally appropriate.

I feel like this year more than ever, there are so many fun options when it comes to dressing up for holiday parties. Every where I look I see an amazing sequin skirt or embellished sweater and I want to book a million different parties, just so I have an excuse to buy every single festive holiday party attire.

The little black dress is perfect for any occasion. Who doesn’t love a good one that can be dressed up or down. I believe it is the easiest and classic option for all of your holiday gatherings.

I have seen so many sequins this year. From pants to skirts to tops. H&M has some pretty sparkly pieces and the price will not break the bank. I find it hard to justify buying a piece that I will only wear once, but with these pieces, you can buy yourself a couple and not feel guilty.

I love a good jumpsuit. You don’t have to worry about finding the perfect top or bottom to wear. You have the whole outfit in one and you don’t have to think about anything except what color lipstick to wear! Again, so many pretty options.
