How to Style a Graphic Tee

If you know me, you know I love a good graphic tee. I think they are one of the most versatile clothing pieces because you can wear them with pretty much anything. A graphic tee has been one of my go-tos lately (well, all the time). If I could, I would probably buy 10 more tees tomorrow. They are always releasing new ones that I love, and I really try hard to find them on sale so I can stretch my dollar.

There are so many ways to style a graphic tee. For more casual days, I love to throw one on with some leggings or bike shorts and tennis shoes. They also pair great over a slip dress or with a leopard print skirt. They are also great for layering. When it’s cooler out, you can just throw on a denim jacket or cardigan over top. You really can’t go wrong. Here are some of my favorite ways to wear one.
Graphic Tees + Bike Shorts
Ahhh, bike shorts. One of my favorite items in my closet. I love a good bike short and am convinced that graphic tees and bike shorts were made for each other. I love to throw on a belt bag and some sneakers to complete the look. The perfect mom uniform.
Graphic Tees + Skirts
There’s something so fun about the juxtaposition of a casual tee paired with a more formal item like a skirt. Whether you go with a solid bottom or play with pattern, it really is the perfect Summer look. I like to pick out a color or two from my skirt or shirt and match the other piece to that.
Graphic Tees + Denim Jackets
Give me the right denim jacket, and I can take on the world. This is the perfect layering piece for your graphic tee look and goes great with denim, joggers, leggings…anything really! I love how complete a denim jacket can make my outfit feel.
Graphic Tees + Animal Print
If graphic tees were my first love, then animal print was a close second. You’ll find me wearing animal print all year, especially leopard. It’s the easiest print to incorporate into any seasonal look, and the same is true here. From pants to skirts, this is a winning combo every time.
