Joy at Home with Target
Nothing brings Kris and me greater joy than spending time with the kids. When Fall rolls around, we are full-on into school and sports mode. The kids have practices and are busy with new routines and friends.
Food always brings us together. Audrey and Brydon both love to help me in the kitchen. When we are around the dinner table, there are no distractions. We can laugh, eat, and chat about what is going on in each other’s lives, the good, the bad, and the ugly. And honestly, all it takes is time and good food. It doesn’t have to be an expensive outing to spend quality time together. We make sure we take the time to spend with the kids. Otherwise, the days will quickly turn into weeks and weeks into months. And then, you know, they’re all grown up and gone.

My love for decorating for Fall runs deep. I love all the colors of Fall, the flavors of Fall, pumpkins, mums, apple cider, you name it, I am for it! Audrey and I will make apple crisp and pumpkin bread and sip on apple cider while we eat all of it.

I am loving all of the gold accents with the warm oranges. These measuring cups and measuring spoons, along with the gold serving pieces are a perfect compliment to all things fall in the kitchen. And I added to our fall kitchen decor by adding the pumpkin serving dish with the pumpkin accent dessert plates and platter. I am always so excited to add a few new pieces each year to our kitchen.

Target makes entertaining the kids at home so easy for families with many activities and games for the whole family. From board games to cards and outdoor activities, Target has it all. Some of our favorite outdoor games to play are Spikeball, badminton, and corn hole. We love music at all times, and I think these record players and records are a fun throwback. Monopoly is a game that is played often in our household. I am always impressed with the kids’ skills playing this game. I would never be able to play as well as them at their age, I can barely play now.
