I seriously contemplated whether or not to cover the sale this year. I typically spend a lot of time going over every item, debating whether or not it is an amazing deal that I cannot pass on, only to find out that it is out of stock. Or if I finally bit the bullet and hit purchase now, I would receive and email the next day only to be informed my item is out of stock. It would frustrate me to no end.
Another reason I didn’t want to cover it, I do not typically buy a lot from this sale. Kris has always had me on a very strict budget from month to month. I have learned over the years how to make my budget work for me and save up on the more expensive items I feel I cannot live without. It has also made me a very savy shopper and I have learned how to squeeze every penny and purchase more “bang for my buck.” I am a deal hunter and will scour the internet to find the best deal over a period of time. But I have saved up my budget in the past to be able to shop this sale and get some staple items for Fall that I feel I cannot live without.
So all of that to say… here are my tried and trues that I would either purchase or already have purchased in the past and I think they are totally worth every penny. I have also listed some items that I believe are just too good of a deal to pass up. Fingers crossed they will be in stock or if they are out of stock, prayingNordstrom will re-stock!

My Daily Uniform
These items are my daily uniform. I will buy one or two cozy pullovers and live in them.
- If you buy one thing, let it be the SPANX LEGGINGS. I will wear them 3x a week. Seriously, the best.
- I have and love the ALO SOHO PULLOVER. It is so soft and comes in 3 colors.
- I bought these ALO LEGGINGS, hoping to give my SPANX a break,
- I am always in need of a good BLACK SPORTS BRA, trying this one.
- Would LOVE this ALO JACKET. Been eyeing it since last year. Comes in 2 colors.
Beauty
- This DRYBAR SET is a deal. I have and love the clips and products included.
- I buy the DONNA KAREN CASHMERE MIST every year, and it will last me til next years sale.
- Have and LOVE the T3 MICRO BLOWDRYER and T3 CURLING WAND.
- I am excited to try this MAC SET of Neutral lip colors.
- This BOBBI BROWN set is great. I love traveling with these types of sets.
- If you have been wanting to test out JO MALONE scents, this set is perfect for that and traveling.
- NUBODY TONING DEVICE is a deal.
- As a family, we LOVE SUPERGOOP SUNSCREEN.
Everyday Denim
I didn’t spend a lot of time sorting through the DENIM on sale. Also, I did see a lot of high-end brands for amazing deals, but listed my top 3, which 2 pair are under $50.
- I have these RIBCAGE LEVI’S in a different wash. They’re my favorite and ended up buying these. They are a great deal at $64.
- I think these TOPSHOP HIGHRISE denim have a cute cuff and black denim is always a good choice. Under $50.
- I just think these TOPSHOP DAD JEANS are too cute not to list.
Fall Staples
These are the items that will be staples in your Fall wardrobe. You can mix and match and find yourself wearing over and over again.
- I have had a CAMO JACKET, for a couple years. It is versatile and I wear it over and over.
- I bought this OVERSIZED SWEATSHIRT. It will be great with denim or leggings. I will also use it to throw over my workout outfit.
- Again, SPANX LEGGINGS.
- I cannot tell you how many times I wore this THREAD AND SUPPLY PULLOVER last year. Worth every penny. I tried to buy other brands and they didn’t compare.
- If I had to pick one BOOTIE, it would be this one. I think it is classic and you can wear with denim or skirts. AND I you would wear them for a few years and they won’t go out of style.
- This TOPSHOP CARDI comes in several colors.
- I love this LEOPARD SKIRT. Perfect now with graphic tees and into fall with a leather coat.
