Fashion trends can be overwhelming. They are constantly changing from season to season. Sometimes it can feel like you need a degree in fashion or have a front row seat at fashion week taking notes furiously to keep up! I have picked out some of my favorite trends for Spring this year. And the great thing is they will take you straight into Summer, which is quickly approaching.

New Trends – Spring 2019
I have been seeing trench coats everywhere. I honestly didn’t think one coat could be that versatile. But I am loving the trend. I feel like a classic has been brought back to life. You can literally wear it with denim, dresses, and shorts. AND it is functional! It definitely serves it purpose for warmth and keeps you dry on those rainy Spring days!
The neutral trend has to be my favorite Spring trend. I love how it always looks so clean and fresh. I have always leaned towards neutrals, so now it is working in my favor!
The 90’s have been revived and the 90’s are totally my era! So bring on all the scrunchies and tie dye. Brings me back to all the times I thought I could make my own tie dye shirt. I always miserably failed. Thankfully I don’t have to make my own now. And there are so many cute options. It is such a fun and casual look!
I never thought that I would be on board with the clear vinyl purse trend. All I could think about was the clear plastic backpacks Kris and I would tote around at the Daytona 500 years ago. Well, lets just say the Transparent Tote has come a long way.
Classic Spring Fashion
For Spring you can always fall back on the classics that will always be trending. When I think Spring, I will forever think bunnies, birds, florals, gingham, and pastels. Now when I think of classic Spring fashion, florals, pastels, eyelet, gingham, and woven bags are at the top my list. I’ve found a few of my favorite classic styles. I love mixing the classic with the trendy. I will be wearing these items this spring and throughout the Summer.
Florals are always a classic Spring look. Whether it is a bold, fun floral or light and feminine. I love them all!
Every shade that an Easter egg should be! Pastels are always a spring staple. Who doesn’t love a hue of rainbow pastels from pinks to blues!
One of my favorite looks is graphic tee with a gingham skirt. Although I wouldn’t consider that a classical spring look, I feel like the graphic tee gives it an edgy feel. I love these Gingham pants in lavender. It combines two classic Spring trends and are so easy to dress up or down.
A large straw woven bag screams I am going to the beach, which means warm weather. Which in turn means Spring and Summer are here! Love how this classic look has turned into a trend and there are so many cute woven bags, little or big, that are perfect for carrying through summer!
