Violet has always been my favorite color. So much so, that when I was little I seriously wished that I had been born in February so that my birthstone would be amethyst. Yep — we’re talking full blow violet obsession. Fast forward to today and my forever fave color is now the Pantone Color of the Year…YAS!  Turns out, not only is ULTRA VIOLET like, really pretty, there’s actually an incredible (and oh-so-relevant) meaning behind the hue. According to Pantone, Ultra Violet Ultra Violet communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future.  Okay seriously…how refreshing is that? No need to look back and so much to look forward to in our future!
