Work Outfit Inspiration
Work has looked a lot different for many of us since the year 2020. While I know a lot of people who have transitioned into remote work environments or hybrid onsite/remote situations, many companies have their employees back in the office five days a week.
From traditional office space to being a stay at home mom to working from home, I have experienced all types of work settings. I know firsthand how busy (and sometimes overwhelming) work can get, no matter what it looks like, especially when you’re a mom.
One thing I hear time and time again is how important it is to get up and get ready, even if you’re working remotely. There’s just something about a great outfit that can help get the productive juices flowing, even if it isn’t super formal. Whatever your current work situation is, I’ve put together some tips to help you stay inspired as you dress for work throughout the week. I hope you’ll find these helpful as they carry you from Monday right on through to that ever-anticipated weekend time with family!
Traditional Office Setting
If you still find yourself in a traditional office setting, a dress is always so easy to throw on and dress up or down, depending on what your calendar looks like that day. I love this one, not only because it’s a gorgeous color, but it’s also really flowy and comfortable. My must-have qualities when it comes to any dress! You can reach for this dress and be ready for anything the day throws at you.

One of my favorite ways to change up a dress and make it feel new is to add a knotted graphic tee or (for these cooler months) a sweater over it. It brings that cozy element in while still feeling professional and put-together. Not to mention, it’s also a great way to put your own spin on an outfit and make it really feel like your own!
Jumpsuits also come in handy when you’re looking for a quick, easy work day outfit. I love that it takes the work out of getting dressed. It’s all one piece, so all you have to do is throw on some shoes and accessories, and you’re ready to take on the day! I would pair this one with a blazer or a cozy cardigan to make it work ready.

Casual Friday
For those of you in a more casual office setting, you might find that jeans are your go-to. I love pairing jeans with a dressier top and heels to elevate them and make them feel more professional. This leather top is so fun and, while it’s dressy, it still feels a little more creative than your typical work top.
Here are some more leather tops I’m currently loving:

Another look I love is a casual tee with a blazer over it. There are so many options when it comes to blazers. It makes me want to fill my whole closet so I have one for every occasion! There’s just something about the polished look they bring to an outfit. You really can’t go wrong.
Working from Home
Like I said, it’s important to get dressed every day, even if you’re working from home, but that doesn’t mean you can’t dress comfortably! I love, love, LOVE this outfit because it’s put-together, but still very breezy and comfortable. Whether the day has you chasing the kiddos around while juggling your other work, or stuck in back-to-back Zoom meetings, a button-down top with some cozy pants should do the trick.
