Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
Thanksgiving is just over a month away. I swear, every year it comes faster than expected. I am thankful for a week with the kiddos, a break from the daily grind of school and sports, and of course all of the food! Brydon is most excited about our family football game. It’s tradition and even though my dad and uncle gripe about it they are the ones out there about to break a leg because they’re so into it.
I typically dress pretty casually, but I do dress it up just a bit because, well, it’s Thanksgiving, and I need to give my normal mom athleisure a break. We always take a family photo in the kitchen (again, tradition) and it is so fun to go back and look at them year after year.
I wanted to share with you guys a few casual Thanksgiving outfit ideas in case you needed a little inspiration to change up your festive attire for the holiday season!
Sweater dresses are always a favorite, but I feel like they’re having a major moment right now. There are so many great options, it was hard to narrow it down! Here are some of my current favorites:
Leather pants (or leggings) can instantly dress up a look. Plus, they’re just fun to wear! I love a leather jogger, especially paired with some loafers or my favorite pair of Golden Goose sneakers. Also found some great leather skirts and shorts for those of us celebrating the holidays in warmer temps.
Graphic Tees & Sweatshirts
It’s no secret I’m a fan of band tees, and I love the cozy vibe of a graphic or band sweatshirt during this time of year. These would go great with one of the leather bottoms linked above. You can also throw one on with a skirt or knotted over a slip dress to mix things up.
Of course, I can’t leave out my favorite go-to: a great pair of leggings. There are so many ways to wear leggings in a more dressed-up way if that’s the look you’re going for, so you can be comfortable while still feeling festive. Here are some good legging options in various materials and colors.
